Today’s at the desk performance (19/03/20).I never met Vilem Tausky, but, as young musician was inspired by his writing about Leoš Janá?ek , with whom he studied. This lovely viola piece has been in my hands and on my shelf, for years, but I have never performed it. So the perfect combination of enforced home confinement, a wonderful viola lent to me by Ben Hebbert, and thinking about some drawings that I did at the end of 2013, led to this at the desk recording, which includes a squeaky chair for verisimilitude!
