Since meeting with the visionary designer and artist Ross Lovegrove, he and I have been discussing the possibility of a new approach to the violin using new materials and organically based design principles. This is at the exciting conceptual stage, but here is an detail of ways that Ross is rethinking our approach to this most well known of forms.
