I have just returned from a wonderful few days at the Villa Concordia in Bamberg. My dear friend and colleague, Ansgar Beste, is one of the year-long residents at this idealistic centre for the artst. At the heart of this concert was his fabulous work for prepared violin, ‘Dialogues Fragiles’. LISTEN

I also played works by previous Villa Concordia alumni,  Heimir Sveinsson, Akell Másson, Johannes X. Schachtner, and a new work for violin and play back by recent alumna, Laura Konjetsky ‘Die Rote Zugabe’.Link
