On the overnight practice desk – Rolf Martinsson – ‘Landscape’, which I am playing at Lund Contemporary next week. Here’s the film of my first performance over a decade ago ( who can identify the violin?) The piece is based on Edvard Munch, but last night I reached out for inspiration to a wonderful piece by Enzo Cucchi made for Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 1985. on the desk last night, too. I first saw (and walked on) this sculpture in 1988 – on a very cold and grim winter morning – and I have returned many times over the years.
