The 'Kreisler' Del Gesu. Library of Congress. Photo: Richard BramThese extraordinary pictures were taking while I was rehearsing Pierre Baillot's Chant des Litanies on Fritz Kreisler's violin in the Coolidge Auditorium in the Library of Congress. This work was composed specifically to demonstrate the effect of 'Tartini's Notes'. These pictures give a wonderful image of the different amplitudes of vibration double stopping the D and G strings, and the A and D Strings. Photo; Richard Bram
