Peter was introduced to Michael Alec Rose in 2004 by the late George Rochberg. Their meeting resulted in an immediate and intense collaboration. In the few years since Michael has written Peter a number of solo violin pieces, a set of violin duos, a duo with double bass, the Pastoral Concerto, premiered in Nashville in 2008, and a set of pieces dedicated to the Kreutzer’s, Hubbert Peak, one of which is illustrated here.
