This piece was written for the celebration of Alexander the Great, which the British Museum commissioned me to organise and perform in the museum on the 17th June. This concert took place in in Room 22 of the museum. The following day, I played it in Moretonhampstead Church on Dartmoor.

Michael was inspired to write this my the beauty of one of the Lykia Nereids, a few yards from where the premiere took place. Here she is-I drew her a couple of years ago.
